This cleaning technique not only scrubs the digestive tract—a major manufacturer of toxins itself—clean, but the saline water circulating all over the body draws out chemicals and other dirty substances from the body cells to the blood stream which are then thrown out of the system by the eliminating organs. With all the pollutants gone from the body, the skin acquires a fresh and clean look with often a pearly transluscence.
Technique
(To be practised strictly under the guidance of an expert)
Heat up thirty glasses of water. Take out six glasses from it and keep them in another container. Add 3 tsp of clean salt to it and mix well. Quickly drink three glasses and perform the following asanas, eight times each as in Laghoo Shankh Prakshalana (for details, see author's book Yoga for Busy People).
1. Tadasana 2. Triyaka Tadasana
3. Kati Chakrasana 4. Triyak Bhujangasana
5. Udarakh .
